A Bit(e) About The Author

Jennifer Lindridge is an American-South African-Canadian citizen.

She was born in Atlanta, Georgia in the United States. She and her family moved to Gqeberha / Port Elizabeth, South Africa in 1983.

Jennifer matriculated from The Collegiate School for Girls and went on to study graphic design at what was then, The Port Elizabeth Technikon.

She is an award-winning graphic designer who has owned, managed and sold two advertising agencies.

Since retiring, Jennifer spends a good deal of her time rescuing and fundraising for animals in need. She has always been passionate about animals, and has a particularly soft spot for dogs. She would have all the dogs in the world if she could. At the moment however, her husband has only agreed this lot!

At the time of writing this book, there were eleven, much-loved rescue dogs of various shapes, sizes, ages and disabilities. Sadly, the big old basset boy, Diesel, crossed the rainbow bridge on 4th July, 2021. He was almost 13 and lived a very long, happy life!

There are still many dogs in the pack. They are all rescues from unfortunate beginnings, but with excellent retirement plans!

Jennifer, her husband, Dr Robert Campbell, and their zoo live in Port Elizabeth, South Africa.

11 Dogs Live With Me is her second children’s book.

Her first book, The Fuzz-Fuzz, is also distributed under the Lapa / Penguin Random House South Africa imprint.
